Back in the swing of things?

So it is now August...ok, the end of August and I have finally got everyon back in school and back in to sports, Lexi is running cross country, Alissa is playing soccer, and Ashlynn is now taking dance, do not worry, John is still riding his bike everyday (well ok he does take a day off now and then for church). Lexi and Ashlynn are both still playing the piano and Ashlynn has taken up the violin. We are all back on a nice schedule. We are all out the door everyday by 7:30am. Lexi has gotten her drivers permit and is driving! LOOK OUT. Just kidding she is taking this very serious.(first born thing). I am still working at the school teaching Library and working SpEd for two hours a day. It is fun and keeps me getting up and out of bed everyday. I joke if I didn't work I would not get up but I think it is truer then I hate to admit. I am just so glad we are all back on a schedule.

After such a long time of not doing anything to this blog. I have decide today, the day I am suppose to be packing for the beach to take time to write up some new exciting entry. Well okay, it is not exciting but we have had such a hot summer and School starts next week for Ashlynn and me. I have decide to put in a few pictures of our summer so far. When we get back from the beach next week I will add more... if I remember. This photo was my birthday at the Botanical Garden. It was a great day! We loved the glass and the butterflies and even the plants!

Ok so I got up and made breakfast... actually I made Alissa and Lexi and her friends that spent the night make it. But still the same I had to go buy buttermilk and eggs for them. I am in the middle of a huge vinyl order and just don't want to do it. So I decided to take a break and write something down. John and I have finally decided on our bed and we bought it!! ok don't get to excited we bought the bed not the mattress ...yet...Oh we have so much more shopping before we decide but I think because the bed will be here on the 11th and I am NOT sleeping on the floor. He can't take too much time finding a mattress this time. By the way he wants lots of gifts for his birthday but he only wants things that are really expensive and wont tell you so you have to guess. I am getting him a new vacuum I think he might find it useful since I gave up cleaning. Lexi has saved up all the free WiennerSchnitzle coupons she got to give him what a great gift. By the way the 4th of September is eat an extra dessert day. I suggest you practice up for that and then maybe even continue the tradition for the week after that way when national pancake day comes on the 26th of September you are ready to pound them down. That is my plan.
